Mudita Radiant is a clear example of design guided by purpose. The case is made from 316L stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and hypoallergenic properties. Its fully brushed finish serves both aesthetic and practical roles: it reduces reflections and hides everyday scratches, reinforcing the tool-watch character typical of classic field watches.
Radiant features a classic case silhouette with softly rounded lugs and integrated crown protection shoulders that shield the crown from impacts without increasing the visual size of the watch. The crown itself carries the engraved lotus symbol, a small but meaningful design detail.
The watch is available in three case sizes: 32 mm, 37 mm and 40 mm. The 37 mm version offers a traditional field-watch proportion and excellent wearability, while the 40 mm variant provides a stronger wrist presence.
Mudita chose reinforced textile straps made from dense woven nylon. Compared to standard NATO-style straps, they provide better stability and durability. Each strap includes a stainless steel buckle, stainless steel keepers and quick-release spring bars for tool-free strap changes. This allows effortless customization within seconds.
The dial of Mudita Radiant represents minimalism at its purest. It features full Arabic numerals, Mudita’s proprietary geometric typeface, brushed applied indices, Super-LumiNova® BGW9 with a blue glow, and baton-style hands filled with Swiss lume. Everything serves one goal: instant readability.
The watch intentionally does not include a date window. There are three reasons behind this decision. First, the date is already everywhere: on phones, laptops and dashboards. Second, a date window would disrupt the dial’s symmetry. Third, simplicity is central to Mudita’s philosophy: the watch shows what matters most, which is time. Everything else is noise.
Mudita Radiant is a Swiss Made watch assembled and quality-checked in Switzerland in cooperation with Chrono AG. Inside beats the Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré automatic movement, a reliable Swiss mechanism designed for everyday use and long-term durability. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers bidirectional automatic winding and has an approximate 41-hour power reserve. It is also equipped with Incabloc® shock protection.
Radiant is available in several dial colors, including Natural White, Sand Beige, Moss Green, Baltic Blue and Charcoal Black. Moss Green gives the watch a strong outdoor-inspired character, pairing naturally with brushed steel and reinforcing the field-watch identity. Baltic Blue is more understated and refined, sitting somewhere between deep navy and steel grey, making it versatile enough for both casual and smart-casual settings.
